Saturday

1.  Wake up in fish t-shirt and sheep shorts.  See Friday for fascinating deets.  Not.

2.  Next: train ride to Conneticut.  When I travel, especially on planes, but also, apparently, on trains, I like to appear worldly and sophistocated, yet casual and cool.  I usually give this way too much thought.  Also, there are many comfort and practicality dilemas that arise.  For example, if you wear boots on the plane, you will have to take them on and off at security.  Annoying.  But, you do not have to pack them in your suitcase, freeing up room for three pairs of regular shoes, or several bags of chili-cheese fritoes, or whatever, whathaveyou.  When travelling it is also good to consider how much of your bare skin you are willing to let touch the jenky seat you, and thousands of unwashed before you, will inevitably have to sit in.

Anyhoo, one head explosion later, I settle on the dark matchstick jeans (see Thursday and Friday, eww), a blue and pink striped tunic (Union Square Forever 21, $12.99, May 2007), silver Havaianas (see Thursday), and The Magic Sweater (see Friday).  The Magic Sweater was born to travel.  And it has.  And it was the hero of my weekend because it was FREEZING on the train.

3.  After MUCH needed afternoon shower, begrudgingly put matchstick jeans back on.  Boo hiss tonic covered skirt!  Black poufy sleeve top (some boutique in the Beverly Center, LA, June 2006), silver havaianas.  Magic Sweater provided only protection from unexpected thunder storm.  Also, cool printed scarf (“the good H&M”, April 2008, $6.99).  Off to Dave Matthews Band!

4.  Best Dave concert ever.  Woohoo!  Never been more tired though.  Sleep in fish t-shirt and sheep shorts.  And Hilton sheet situation, which is a very good one for a hotel.  Love.
